Thomas Fender 

Mary Beth and I, along with our kiddos, came to Goldendale in December of 2006.  We moved here from Yakima, WA where I served as an associate pastor at Yakima West Valley Church of the Nazarene and Mary Beth served as the Early Child Coordinator.  We had moved to Yakima from Colorado Springs where we lived for four years as I attended Nazarene Bible College.

Both of us were born and raised in Hubbard, OR, just south of Portland and we truly love the great Pacific Northwest.  We have been married for 16 years and have four wonderful kids: Tyler, Joshua, Rachel, and Naomi.  I enjoy the outdoors and especially hunting, camping, and riding my motorcycle.  I am also passionate about football and am an avid Denver Bronco fan (and was prior to living in Colorado!).  Mary Beth keeps extremely busy as a homeschooling mom and homemaker.  She is also actively involved in the life of the church as the church secretary, teaching Sunday School, and countless other activities. 

Although it has been an adjustment coming to a small community, we are grateful to be here and are settling into the lifestyle here in Goldendale.  God has really blessed us with a wonderful congregation and it helps make ministry a real joy.
